The Colombia Los Naranjos was carefully roasted for you by Square One Coffee. This fully washed coffee was sourced from the growing region of Huila in Colombia and was produced by the Los Naranjos at 1,600 - 1,900 meters. Enjoy the mellow, balanced cup with notes of nougat and citrus.
This was one of my favorite coffees from MistoBox so far. The richness of caramel balanced with citrus, but with neither flavor profile overpowering the cup. A smooth, delicious roast.
Smooth at the front of the cup and always caught a lot of dark chocolate toward the end. Hints of citrus found in between. Brewed like a light roast but tasted more like a medium because of what seemed like heavy chocolate notes to me. Brewed inverted in my areopress.
While the first coffee came across as too dark, this one seemed to be on the other end and was a bit sour. We usually enjoy trying a variety of notes and roast profiles, but these have not hit the mark quite yet. Still a solid cup!
This has a smooth flavor. I love the nougat undertones, but the citrus is a bit heavy. I do wish it were a little bolder, though. It's too light for my taste. It smells amazing. I wish my house smelled like this coffee all the time.
This Colombian was okay. I brewed it through V60 an Chemex.
Very bright, forward coffee with strong orange flavors and light body. I found it a little harsh as a pot over, but more balanced in the clever.
