The Panama Lerida Estate was carefully roasted for you by Kaldi's Coffee Roasting Co. This fully washed coffee was grown in the Boquete region of Panama between 1,600 - 1,800 above sea level. The cup is rich and balanced, with notes of caramel and bittersweet chocolate, and dark fruit notes of raisins and cherry.
This unabashedly big body coffee, blitzes the palate with dark fruit forward notes of tannic grape must morphing to deep sun warmed raisins and bittersweet chocolate dipped cherries.
The "dark fruit" intrigued me when I read it. But then I tasted a very pleasant raisin or currant type sweetness! Very very nice cup.
We liked this a bit better than the Kickapoo last week though they were both very good and similar to what we typically like to drink at our favorite local coffee shop.
We thought the the Lerida was perhaps a bit fuller body and a bit less acidic. We are looking forward to trying the Barefoot coffee soon.
Good choices so far - thank you.
The fruit notes on this brew was more direct than most. Enjoyable.
dislike. Thought it was from Africa or Brazil.
very nice pick again!
This was a good bad of coffee. Really even roast with a nice balanced flavor.
This was the best coffee I've received from Mistobox. I can't really put my finger on why, but it was amazing.
This one knocked it out of the park. It's robust and tastes more 'coffee-y' than a few of our last deliveries. We haven't had a chance to try in the Chemex, but it's wonderful in the aeropress!
Really like this coffee; also, please send washed coffees and not un-washed coffees
Very dark roasted
Dark fruit flavor was too overbearing
I've brewed this now a couple times (French press - 720:45 205deg; Chemex - 475:32 205deg), and I've been enjoying it. I would call this a balanced cup across the palate. Not very many bright or striking flavors come across to me, but there is some subtle roastiness and a small amount of sweetness. Overall, a good coffee but not my favorite.
Great balance of chocolate and fruit. Chemex perfection!
Well, this just replaced Kaldi's Natural High as my new favorite! I don't know what Kaldi's is doing, but keep it up.
Simple, smooth, balanced with a hint of sweetness. Perhaps a little too simple and one-note, but very pleasant and easy to drink.
Excellent tasting coffee that has low acidity making it a very drinkable cup. No milk or creamer required!
