This is the Ethiopia ARDI brought to you by Topeca Coffee Roasters. This coffee was sourced from the coffee growing region of Guji, Sidamo in Ethiopia. Through persistent dedication to coffee quality, the Kercha Co-op produced a spectacular crop of coffee. This coffee was grown at an altitude of 1,750 - 1,800 meters and is a great example of how stellar a full natural coffee can be. This cup is fantastically juicy, with notes of fruit, like red currant, floral aroma and a dutch chocolate finish.
This one is great. I love the strong cocoa notes balanced with just a hint of fruit.
This was a very satisfying Ardi that was great as a V60 brew with a juicy hit up front. It really sung in the Chemex with the same fruitiness accompanied by a pleasant tartness and subtle floral notes.
loved this one
The light roasted beans consistently deliver a smooth cup of coffee. However, The chocolate taste note overpowers the fruitiness of the coffee. I can smell the floral aroma stated in the description.
I didn't get much of the fruity/juicy notes. Just tasted most of the chocolate notes.
I love this coffee. After brewing, I got a strong floral smell with hints of berries and citrus. Flavor wise, there is a berry flavor up front with a lingering taste of cocoa nibs. This is an excellent coffee. I like that it isn't as acidic and citrusy as the Guatemala I has previously. I really prefer the juicy/fruity profile.
This has been my favorite so far. I enjoy the bright and juicy flavors a lot. I have tried Ardi before from different roasters and usually get that flavor from coffee shops when they have it. I would love to try more like this or even more of this exact same from different roasters.
This one definitely reminded my of my first single origin coffee I got which was another Ethiopia ARDI. A very light coffee with fruit flavors.
Topeca Ethiopian ARDI lived up to its East African heritage of fruity nuances that are quintessential to the coffee experience that is so different than what my parents drank back in the day. Well done Topeca. Thank you Seth.
Very Nice. Clean and Floral.
Best coffee I've had yet. A really incredible natural.
The color of the beans is lighter, which is what I typically prefer. This coffee seemed to have less of a caffeine kick, though. I prefer more caffeine. I think I preferred the Guatemala El Limonar over the Ethiopia ARDI.
A bit on the light side, but nice and smooth.
We like the notes and light complexity of this coffee. We liked it, but did not love it like our first coffee selection.
Nothing like a renewed love affair with Ethiopian locality coffee.
I tasted this coffee again this morning an was able to smell some of the red currant, but couldn't really taste it. It tastes acidic, not bitter and no aftertaste. Bean color was about right for what I usually drink. Overall, the coffee has a good taste, but nothing remarkable stood out to me. Maybe I'm trying to hard. It was equally as good as the first coffee.
Loved this one!
Loved it! Like blueberry cobbler in a cup. Seriously, one of the best cups of coffee I've had. Not sure what else to say about it.
I can definitely taste fruit in the roast, and overall would say this a decent cup of coffee. I have found that brewing with the V60 has produced a more desirable cup than brewing with the aeropress.
We really like this one! Hubby is partial to Ardis in particular, and this one is very yummy
I love Ethiopian coffee's
My favorite yet. It tastes like blueberries!
Very flavorful, but a bit too fruity for me. I had trouble finishing this bag.
I highly enjoyed the Ethiopia Ardi coffee I received in the mail last week, more than the first coffee I received. Ardi is intensely juicy and fruity, and also I enjoy the pleasant brightness that comes from this coffee. So far, I've brewed it up on the Chemed and the V60 01, with both bringing great results. This full natural coffee has wonderful flavor and has been enjoyable every time I brew it. I hope I can receive a coffee that is equally as good (or better) the next time!
Very bright with notes of pomegranate, pineapple, slightly tobacco and a dark chocolate finish. Very balanced and not offensive.
Really enjoyed this one as well. Again, roasted just how I like it. Very smooth.

We liked this one pretty well! I definitely missed out on the juicy fruit flavors or floral aromas, though. It has a roasty flavor to me, but maybe a little on the side of burnt? Which is why it gets only 4 instead of 5. In general I like it though.
Bright and fruity. One of the best coffees that I've had.
Another juicy, fruity African coffee that works well in the summer heat. As this was my third bag in a row of natural fruit-filled coffee, by the end of it I felt ready for a change.
Very fruity, creamy, and sweet. The best way to describe it is "dessert". A great cup of coffee overall, I brewed with a Chemex.
This is good. I don't love it as much as I loved the prior coffee. Still pretty damned good though.
Best cup I've had delivered from MistoBox so far. Will be wanting these beans again! Berry-ish notes (like you'd expect in an Ethiopian) and great, fresh, morning cup.
Great cup of coffee! One of the best I've had. Loved it's fruity/juicy taste
Great balanced fruity taste, acidity, and aroma initially, but did become muted after a few days of opening the bag, even though I grind the beans fresh each day. Still delicious, but just not as flavorful.
Beautifully tasting coffee bean. I mean the actual bean tasted heavenly as blue berries when chewed on. The fragrance after grinding is divine. However,. I have yet to find the same taste notes after brewing. The closest I've got was with a 16:1 ratio, 2 minute steep, paper filter in my aeropress. I can see the potential but my skills are not getting me there yet.
When prepared as a latte I get a nice spectra of nutty flavors. Some strawberry juiciness comes out after adding a very small amount of sugar.
A very good cup out of the clever dripper. Wife really enjoyed as a late as well
Ooohhhh boy this is a GOOD ONE. Seth you nailed it, because those juicy berry notes just POP up front. The only thing I might like is a smudge more fullness on the back. Delicious blueberries, bright but not hurtful acidity, perfect through V60, at about a 15.5:1 ratio. 32g/490g was amazing. Chemex up next.
This was a fantastic coffee, loved the fruit notes
This coffee is one of the smoothest cups I've ever drank. So light and delicious. This might be my new go to.
Love the notes on this bad boy of a bag!!!! So good. Chocolate mmmmmmmm
This started out as a wonderful coffee. Rich, juicy, and delightful. Only wished the finish was a little more crisp. (I initially gave it 4.5 stars). However, after about a week I couldn't get good cup out of it. I've never had beans lose their character that quickly but I finished the bag less than impressed.
Outstanding coffee! Floral, complex, great finish. It was a lighter roast but very substantial and amazing to drink black. Probably the best coffee I have had in my Chemex. Very very good! I will definitely be buying this again.
Delicious, fruity, never got bitter. I did find that the beans lost flavor fast as they aged.
Light and medium acidic. Balanced cup that got better as it cooled
Wow! This was an amazing cup of coffee. Enjoyed all the aspects of it. Love how to me it was like a very smooth floral coffee, kinda like tea. At the same time it still had some notes of fruit. Love the balance of the cup and the aftertaste is amazing. Thanks Connor for this shipment!
Also, side note I love how this coffee was named.
My wife really liked this coffee (hence the 4 stars), and I thought it was good as far as being smooth, not bitter, and tasting flavors, but the flavor wasn't as good as the other coffees I've received so far.
Loved this coffee, very currant, so berry, wow.
This cup is fruity, with notes of roasted banana and a floral aroma. Quite enjoyable brewed in a Chemex with paper filter.
Too fruity and floral for my taste.
Just about the perfect cup or me: sweet and subtle juiciness from the start and a little dry chocolate finish.
I just moved to Oregon from Tulsa, Oklahoma where Topeca is located. Ardi has always been one of my favorite coffees that I've ever tasted.
3.5. We mostly like the flavor profile, wish it was a little more robust.
Very tasty, very light roast! Juicy, dry chocolate, low roasty dryness. I like this one a bunch. Brewed with Aeropress, 175°, and various ratios depending on the texture and strength I wanted that day.
My favorite so far!! Love the chocolate notes mixed with the floral fruitiness.
Fruity light roast with a strong, but not over powering, chocolate finish. Fantastic aroma to fill your kitchen.
This is a top tier coffee, no question. Likely one of the finest we'll see in 2016, and we're only a few weeks in. Creamy, berry explosions, and flavors that linger all day.
Love it - fruity, light but still with a little body to it. Great brew.
Brewed with Kalita Wave pourover. I absolutely love this coffee! Super complex and full of juciy, fruity goodness. Aroma is filled with blossoms, honey, and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is jam packed with fruit, i get cranberry and black berries mixed with a little dark chocolate. Finishes with heavy dose dark chocolate and rasins. Body is on the medium side.. This coffee delivers exactly what I look for in a single origin. It is distinctive and flavorful and a joy to drink. If I was nit picking it could have a little more body but honestly I wouldn't even say that is worth half a star. Conclusion: Best cup I have ever brewed at home!
Excellent throughout. Everyone in the family enjoyed it.
