This is the Kenya Kiamaina brought to you by Greenway Coffee Company. This fully washed coffee was grown by the various small holder producers in the Nyeri region of Kenya between 1,600 - 1,800 meters above sea level. We love this coffee for its nuanced notes of kiwi and mandarin oranges.
Tastes exactly like I would expect a Kenyan roast to. Very juicy, and has that bright acidity that makes Kenyans standout. I have definitely enjoyed drinking my morning coffee with this in my cup.
Good but not great. A little darker than I'm used to but, nonetheless, a welcomed change. Issues with brewing time (takes about 1.5-2 minutes longer than usual to brew via Chemex). Nice coffee but does, for some reason, taste a little burnt. I still it enjoyed but it wasn't nearly as good as the previous brew from Verve (Costa Rica El Vendaval).
