This is the Papua New Guinea Waghi Valley brought to you by Square One Coffee. This fully washed coffee was grown by the Ulya Mill, various small holder farmers in the Waghi Valley, Western Highlands region of Papua New Guinea between 1,400 - 1,800 meters above sea level. We love this coffee for its nuanced notes of chocolate, nuts, pleasant acidity and balanced overall quality.
Here is to hoping this review makes sense. The coffee tasted generic. It was a normal cup of joe to me without any notes sticking out. It just tasted like coffee.
Ended up having a weaker flavor in my cup - it wasn't as well-rounded a taste as I'd like.
I do not like chocolate and nutty coffees. Feel bad giving this low rating but I informed Misto of my dislike for these flavors.
I've never had a coffee from this region. Light a delightful . I as recommended have so far sampled as a pour over and am very pleased with the flavor.
Nice balanced medium blend. Also brewed with Chemex. Sweet and chocolatey coffee. Tasty.
This coffee is even better than the first. I love how flavorful it is and how I can taste all the different notes. It smelled so complicated when I opened it and I had a lot of fun teasing out all the different flavors in it.
