This is the Blue Heeler Signature Blend brought to you by Colecitvo Coffee. This coffee is a blend of regular and dark roasted Organic and Fair trade coffee from Sumatra. This coffee features a earthy aroma with a full body and spicy, subtly smoky flavor.
I love the smell and flavors of this coffee. A great full body with smoky carmel after tones. It left me wanting more a little later in the day.
Love this Blue Heeler. Perfect blend of bold but not acid-y. Very nice and subtle hints of chocolate and earthy and "roast". And it's one of the best smelling coffees ever when you open the bag! Scents the whole kitchen! A+
Not as strong as the others I've received but still quite nice. I may not be as earthy-inclined as I thought!
Huge fan of Collectivo, so I was very happy to see this show up in my first delivery. 5 Stars.
It has great flavor, but it's too lite for my tastes. I personally like something a bit darker.
Liked the earthy, liked the smokey an the dark chocolatey smoothness. Good go to. Would like a little more complexity.
Earthy is a great description for these beans. I was concerned that the flavor would be too bitter or intense, but when made as french press, this is actually a very flavorful and enjoyable cup of coffee. Seems like this would be a great bean for an espresso, but I haven't been brave enough to prepare one myself.
Short on flavor. Like the dark/light blend.
Good flavors for sure, and I loved that this is smooth, but I prefer a darker roast.
great taste. very smooth
Very average coffee. Slightly darker roust with more complexity might be better
We both liked this coffee. Good body without the "burnt" taste of some dark roasts.
Quality coffee, a little to light for me however. I prefer a darker roast rather than a blend of medium and dark.
Is there an even darker roasted coffee with similar other qualities that can be sent for my next shipment?
best one yet
Did not like the spice taste and coffee taste was too mild. Usually like Sumatra coffee.
One of my absolute favorites. I prefer strong dark roasts normally, this blend though strikes a perfect balance. It's smooth and not acidic. The flavor is strong without tasting burnt or too bitter. When I want it stronger I just change the ratio of water. My wife prefers lighter roast and I prefer darker, and we both love this blend. Blue Heeler is fantastic.
Pretty darn good. Interesting blend.

We've loved this one!
It was fantastic! Just didn't rate excellent because the earthy tones can come off a BIT strong.
Wonderful taste, but would prefer a little more darker roast. It felt a little watered down when I would Aeropress a cup. I found that I would need to add a lot more grind to compensate for the taste. Overall a good smooth cup of coffee - no strong aftertaste or film left in my mouth!
This is a very pleasing blend, but a bit on the "thin" side for my taste. Perhaps the Sumatra soil is not for me.
Very smooth, I liked that. I got the earthy aroma, but missed the spicy, subtly smoky flavor. I'm brewing using an Espro French Press and like this coffee's smoothness. I'm interested and wish I got the smoky flavor.
Good blend, solid flavor given it is a mix of both regular and dark roasted coffee beans. Looked cool pouring them into the grinder
Delicious. The description on the packaging and Seth's description really match the coffee perfectly as you can see the blended beans. Some dark, some medium, all amazing. Seriously, from first smell all the way through drinking this coffee is amazing. I definitely wouldn't mind getting this one again.

didn't seem to have enough aroma. prefer something with more vibrancy.

I liked this coffee, but thought it could use a better balance between dark and regular roast beans. I generally like Sumatra coffees but this one was a bit lighter than I prefer.

Good mix of bold and medium. I enjoyed it more than the last two sent. They were very dry and bitter.
Very smooth. Enjoyable.
I really am enjoying this blend.
My wife like it. I did not. But since I currently drink French Market Dark Roast Chicory & Coffee. My taste is different than my wifes. Hoping the Parisi Italian is more to my liking.
I usually prefer darker coffees but this is really good. It's somewhere between medium and dark and has a really complex, interesting finish.
Overall a very good coffee. A. It more of a earthy flavor than I'd normally pick, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Smooth but heavy and without the acidic taste. Would definitely buy this one-off.
I found the coffee to have a bit more flavor than the Starbucks beans I normally buy, but I just found the improvement to be marginal. My son (a Mistobox member who gave me the gift subscription) had served me some of his AKA Coffee, BFF Blend (chocolate, nutty, bold) and I was immediately struck by the rich flavor of this blend. I also plan to give my grinder a good cleaning to see if this makes a positive difference in my Blue Heeler Signature.

I like it even DARKER.
The Blue Heeler Signature Blend offered a robust array of flavors that did not require the use of either cream or sugar to enjoy the full body flavors of the coffee. In my particular palette, the spicy notes did not enrich the overall flavor profile of the coffee and I found the taste a bit too overpowering without sufficient balance that I would normally enjoy in either a French Roast or French pressed coffee. A more medium to dark blend would provide a few more floral and nutty flavors that would undermine the supreme dark profile. The Blue Heeler Signature Blend offered a solid start to the Mistobox experience and the coffee has tasted much better the more I open the bag.
I lot a like of this. I like the smoky-ness. I love the full body. This is pretty close to my perfect blend of coffee.
I like it. My first cup was a bit acidic but I think part of it was grinding too fine. I ground it a bit less and added more beans then the first time to my moka pot and it was much better. My favorite blend is a mix of dark roasted latin american beans "Espresso" by Bent Tree (3 parts) to 1 part medium roasted beans from Guatemala by Bent Tree. Blue Heeler is a close second. Thanks!
I like how smooth it is, but the earthy flavors overpowered my palette a little too much. I'd like to receive something with more chocolate notes or fruity notes if possible!
Really GOOD! I don't think I've ever seen a blend of BOTH French roast and "medium" roasted beans MIXED together before. It created such a nice balanced cup!! Very cool.
Too weak for my taste
Great coffee! Finicky when trying to pull shots. Worked wonders in the Clever. 2:30 total brew time. Not a second longer.
Really great in the Aeropress as well!
Brewed nicely could be a darker/richer for 5 stars...but very good!

Loved this! Bold yet smooth! I thought it made a very comforting cup.
Very smooth flavor - not too strong/bitter
Very smooth blend, no acidity no just dark enough. Very enjoyable.
It's tough because this is the first coffee I received from Misto. Compared to what I have been drinking it was much smoother but still had some body and bold flavor. This coffee sets the baseline very high.

Good morning! The Signature Blend is a very smooth, enjoyable coffee. For our second coffee delivery I would be interested in trying a coffee that has a bolder flavor among your dark roast offerings. Thank you.
I enjoyed the way the two types of bean came together in this blend - less harsh than the straight up dark roasts that I have usually been using. Felt like I could taste better flavors but still had the earthiness that I like.
lots of flavor and body. Not overpowering.
Matt and Alissa
Somewhat astringent - I prefer a darker, less acidic blend with richer or chocolate or caramel flavors.
It was a little too smoky for my tastes, but perfect if you like that flavor.
I love this coffee brand! It's served in their cafes in nearby Milwaukee, and I always get some when I'm there. This is one of the best coffees I've had from Mistrobox. Love the blend of regular and dark roast!
