The Louisiane Blend was carefully roasted for you by La Colombe. Mineral, smoky, historic. A tribute to the culinary south, this smoky blend with mineral undercurrent creates a polished connection to the rugged roots of agricultural America. This coffee is bold with a mix of smoky, earthy, and herbal flavors.
This is a great coffee. It has a balanced and traditional taste, not too strong or dark, and not too light. It brews a very enjoyable cup.
This one was toasty and flavorful. Better than taste than the Goat Rock. The beans are a little darker than some of the stellar coffees I've tried.
Deliciously earthy an full-bodied. Bold flavors without being too over powering. Tastes like the coffee came straight from the field to the cup.
The flavor was more like a medium to light roast...definitely not dark. I roasted it some more to improve the flavor....roasting revealed that originally it wasn't past 2nd crack, for you roasters out there.
I dig this. I like the earthiness. Love the aroma. Damn fine coffee.
A bit too sharp for my tastes
Blue Heeler and Louisianne are both great coffees. I prefer Louisianne. Beans look nice and dark. For me the flavor is good, a little too smooth, somewhat shallow. My comparison is Café DuMonde coffee which I love.
Loved this coffee. Best yet.
Did not find the coffee to have a rich, deep flavor. Not sure if it was the affect of being "smoky" => but I found the coffee to leave a dry taste in my mouth.
Enjoyed very much
Slightly better taste than first coffee
Good coffee but nothing really notable.
This is my least favorite coffee that you have sent so far.
Roasty with a hint of earthiness. I really enjoyed this roast. Not bitter. I would like to try a blend with a nutty profile, any recommendations? Thank you!

Nice and smooth
Best one yet by far

We liked this one better than the first. We are familiar with La Colombe and really like them.
Too earthy. I didn't get the herbal flavors. Preferred the Moka Java.
I enjoy how bold the flavor is. If it was any more earthy, then I wouldn't enjoy it as much. I am also happy the smoky flavor is subtle and not overpowering
The whole family loved it!
Pleasant, but not as full as the last one.
Creamy texture. This coffee is amazing

Love this blend!
Good but not a huge fan of the smoky flavor. Nice
Very good. Almost as good as Corsica
Good richness and flavor, minerality is a bit high
Both of us enjoyed the Louisiane Blend by the famous roaster, La Colombe. Both of us scored it a 4. We got the smoky & mineral notes & my wife detected notes of forest floor.
This was a nice blend, but I was wanting a little more body with this blend. I did enjoy the herbal flavor
Really smokey and dark, with a flavor that called to mind artsy instagram pictures of hipsters in patagonia jackets wearing Camp Brand Good's beanies while staring off majestically into the Colorado Rocky Mountains, which just so happen to be foggy at the time. Overall a darn good cup of coffee.
The ground beans smell amazing! I want to grind some and carry it with me to smell throughout the day. Has a smoky tobacco scent to it. Tastes great too.
Nice assertive medium-bold flavor.
very nice and rich, powerful flavor, made my heartbeat fast but not acidic on my tummy
Smokey and sweet. I love this coffee.

Smoked meat... not for me
Overall, I like this coffee. It's certainly not like anything I normally drink, which is a nice change. I am new to grinding whole beans, so it took me a few days to get them the right level of fine-ness, but once I did I liked the result. The mineral tones are interesting and linger just long enough without sticking around and leaving an aftertaste. Clean. If I could, I would rate La Colombe between 3 and 4 stars - though I do like it, it's not my favorite. I went with 3 stars because I wish it had a slightly deeper coffee flavor. The mineral taste, while interesting, can be a little distracting.
The Louisiane Blend arrived two days ago and after three french presses, it does not compare to the Trader Joe's Bay Blend (extra dark roast) bean that we usually brew. Louisiane definitely has a smokey, caramel, herbal flavor, but not much depth.
Not my favorite... seems to brew bitter no matter what method I use. Has a bit of burnt flavor.
This is an amazing blend of flavor and aroma. It is bold and smooth with an aftertaste that makes you want more. Two thumbs up.
Really tasty, enjoyed the bold flavor
Im obsessed with this coffee. It's a lot lighter than I thought it would be, based on the description, but it was so utterly smooth that I kept coming back. I didn't even need to doctor it with fluffy add ins! Loved the complexity of flavor, but it wasn't overwhelming. Would buy!
Didn't care for this one...not bad, just not our taste.
My husband and I have different tastes in coffee. He likes the darker roast and I like the lighter roasts, so maybe we can mix it up! I would give this coffee a 3. My husband says 4.5. He likes the richness of it. I like the lighter flavors.
Great, well-balanced coffee.
Very good taste
This coffee is very, very strong! Smoky, earthy, mineral flavors that stick with you. Perhaps a bit too bitter and heavy for a morning cup, but a wonderful choice for fall afternoons. Reminds me of bonfires, night walks, and hay rides at home—this transplanted Southerner approves!
This coffee is AMAZING! I love La Colombe and was SO excited when I got this in my shipment.
I really like this one. Smoky and full of flavor.
I actually enjoyed this coffee more than the previous brands. It's more potent in flavor and dark. I can actually taste it even after adding lots of cream and after the ice has melted and watered down my coffee a bit.
This one was VERY smoky..... which I discovered I don't like.
Left me wanting a bit in taste and nose. It's almost like this is caught between two mindsets - does it want to be bold or smooth, smoky. I think 3 stars is right where this coffee deserves to be (for my tastes) - 2.5 stars would've have been a bit harsh on the rating.
Another 4 1/2 for us. With its well rounded, bold flavor, it was just a good cup of coffee. Definitely smooth.
Nice deep flavor with no bitterness. Looking forward to the next cup.
great earthy body with a muddled cocoa and dark stone fruit body.

After-smell is reminiscent of a cigarette.
The first order was okay. I personally prefer a darker bold flavor.
Very good, very smooth flavor. I liked that it doesn't have that strange tangy acidic flavor that many fancy coffees do.
This blend is makes a good cup of coffee. The overall profile is very smooth. Maybe even too smooth. I feel like there's something missing, maybe just a contrasting flavor or a little acidity in order to accentuate the Smokey flavors in this blend. I experimented with making a stronger pour but it still felt like it was missing a bit of bite. That being said, I did think this was a very good blend.
Great flavor and body. Would drink this everyday if I needed to, but what would be the fun in that!
Complex blend of dark coffee with an undercurrent of smoke. Nicely constructed layers in this coffee, where the flavor is supplemented by the spicy aroma.
great bold flavor, loved that it was somewhat local
Realised I might have mixed it up. This one was the awesome one that is almost as good as Dillanos! Was quite sad when this one finished.
Not as robust as expected.
I have to say, when I first tried this coffee I was a bit disappointed. It seemed like it didn't have much flavor. But as I played with it and adjusted the amount of coffee I used to brew my cup it got better and better. I really enjoy it. I guess I was used to a darker roast and used less coffee when I brewed my old coffee so it wouldn't be too bitter, live and learn! Anyway maybe something a little darker next time? But I'm really enjoying this coffee.
Nice, rich flavor.
Ok. A bit too much mineral flavor. Missing a personality like some of the previous dark roasts from MistoBox.
I'm not a big fan of Columbian-style beans, which seem to be predominant in this blend. I prefer dark roasted Sumatra.
I loved the dark roast of this blend. I could taste the beans from Brazil. This was a good coffee....
