This is the Myanmar Mandalay brought to you by Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. This fully washed coffee was sourced from the growing region of Mandalay in Myanmar and was produced by the Mandalay Coffee Group at 1,100 - 1,300 meters. The cup is rich with notes of honey, caramel, and nuts.
I love this one! Earthy nuttiness, spice, vanilla and more all balanced with mellow acidity. Really nice!
Good clean, mellow, balanced cup of coffee. I would say "nutty" is the most forward note.
Good coffee but not quite as bold and adventurous as I prefer.
Continually surprised me. I'll need to order this again.
Tastes good! But also fairly "plain" to my taste buds.
This coffee was truly amazing, I have been waiting for something to blow me away and this was worth the wait, I would have given this 4.5 stars if I could. I noticed a nutty flavor to start but nothing overwhelming and a slightly sweet flavor as the taste faded from my mouth, really nice. I loved this coffee all the way from the smell of the beans, to the aroma of the roast, to that last sip of the cup!
Very distinct flavors
Outstanding, very dark with great flavors. Seemed a little more acidic than the last two, that would be my only complaint.
Loved the aroma of both the beans and the ground coffee. I noticed a slight bitterness in the after taste that I did not like though I did taste the caramel overtones. I prefer the Peruvian. However, this is an excellent coffee and the first I've ever had from Myanmar.
This made a very good cup of coffee. It was a bit mellow. The notes weren't very distinctive but it wasn't acidic and did have a nice depth to it.
Very good. Always enjoy the Anodyne roasters. This was a bit mellow on the flavor, but still enjoyable.
I liked the flavor of this coffee more than the last, but I wish there was a little more strength to it. Some of the brews tasted a little watered down and I was using between 15 and 20 grams of fresh ground beans in my chemex and an aeropress. The flavor profile was a lot closer to what I like though, it was just weaker than what I enjoy.
I don't know if this helps, but my favorite coffee I've ever had was the Red Queen roast from Oynx Coffee Lab.
I absolutely loved this coffee! Neither the acidity or the bitterness were too strong and blended nicely with the other flavors.
Solid cup of coffee, could have a bit more flavor but smooth and robust.
This coffee is not too rich or acidic tasting. Has a smooth honey nut taste at finish. Could be one of my favorites if it was a bit darker roast,
Myanmar Mandalay was better than the first coffee but still a bit on the acidic fruity side from us. This one had a little more depth but still usually would want something a little darker. Good coffee for sure just not my favorite style I suppose.
I am really starting to develop a taste for the notes in the coffee. The coffee was a great easy intro. This coffee has a more of a punch of flavor. This is perfect because it is not to big of a jump in complexity but definitely going up. I definetly taste the nutty parts which is rewarding. Maybe missing the chocolate and sweetness a little but loving how rich this cup is!
