Good natural! Lots of fruit and chocolates. Has a little funk to it like most naturals will, but that's the fun of natural processed coffees. Overall, very good. Almost 5 stars. I'd call it 4.75 if I could.
This might be one of my favorite cups I have received so far. Super fruity and bright. Loved it!!
Enjoying the tropical fruit taste and the grape candy in this coffee. Comes out tasting great nearly every time.
This coffee is so fruity and delicious. It is one of my tops of the year.
This is a very solid natural process Ethiopian from Huckleberry. In the v60, this cup definitely delivers on the tropical fruit and berry notes. I'm expecting that the grape candy will start to take over in the next few cups as the coffee ages and the berry notes start to subside a little bit more.
I was out of town when this bag arrived but my wife thoroughly enjoyed it. She said she got all of the notes on the bag even brewed on the auto drip (KitchenAid Pour Over Drip machine). I'm a fan of Huckleberry so I trust that it was a great bag of coffee.
Wow! I was a little worried it might be too dark due to another review. Perfectly roasted!! It looked a little dark in the bag, but the telltale head that develops during the pour over said otherwise! This coffee has the magic.....strong berry fruit forward punch when it hits your mouth....with a velvety dark chocolate finish. Honestly up there with the best I've had!!!! If I could give it 6 stars I would!!
A fan of Ethiopian coffee (Ardi & Yirgz) this coffee didn't disappoint. Fruit forward with notes of grape and berry with nice acidity. This makes for a bright cup of coffee that's deserving of the 5 stars given. Recomemded by a friend and fellow Mistobox member this coffee definitely made it to my list of coffee's to remember.
This natural is everything it claims to be. I brewed it on Kalita Wave, Chemex, and V60 01 and it shined on every one. The grape candy flavor was particularly delightful, reminiscent of my favorite coffee I've ever had (a natural Ugandan).
This is a great coffee!!!! Fruity and crisp!!!!
Ever have coffee where you say can I just get another bag of this again? That's this one. Delicious fruit and they nailed the grape candy flavor and it is brilliant. One of the best coffees I've ever had! V60 15:1 ratio, 13 setting on Virtuoso
Cup is bursting with flavor, love.
Very good coffee. The natural processing left it a bit fuller bodied yet more muddled of a flavor profile. Therefore, I liked this one slightly less than the Verve Layo Teraga. With the more tropical / fruity flavors, I like slightly higher acidity. If the notes described are sweeter / nuttier / etc. and less tropical, than I tend to like semi washed or natural more. That said, natural coffees are a nice chance of pace, so this isn't a 'never any natural coffee' suggestion.
Enjoyed the fruit forwardness.
Absolutely fantastic coffee. The fruit tones were very evident! Each cup was perfectly balanced and smooth. Its a coffee you're eager to share, yet unwilling to part with. Great brew by Huckleberry. Great pick by Mistobox. Thanks!
Red wine and chocolate. I couldn't figure out how to make this coffee taste good.
A sad but quick update: After the 5 day off- roast mark this coffee lost all its luster and no matter how I brewed it, I never got that deliciousness back.
Strawberry on the nose was incredibly strong. Pleasant complex acidity and sweetness in the pour- over 4 days off roast. The best coffee I've received from mistobox so far.
This one smells good but the roast is darker than expected. Not sure if it's always roasted the same but I think this would be better as espresso.
