This is the Kenya Nyeri Chinga Peaberry brought to you by Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters. Grown by the various small holder producers in the Nyeri County region at 1,800 meters, this fully washed coffee is a perfect example of why we love coffees from Kenya. The cup is juicy and complex with dominated by dark fruit notes with a citrus acidity.
This coffee had great depth of flavor. Very interesting and not too sour.
Kenya peaberry is generally one of my favorite beans. This was a great coffee no doubt, but I think this one fell just a tad bit acidic.
Very juicy and sweet. It tasted best for me in a V60.
This coffee is a bit more acidic and fruity than I'd prefer but still very good. Going a bit coarser to shorten the brew time helped in reducing the acidity.
I loved this coffee. It was aromatic, bright, and fun to sip throughout the morning. Definitely a good choice. Thank you.
great tasting.happy with this coffee. I think I prefer not to have as much citrus taste though.
Sweet with a hint of roasty. Fruity and a bit acidic. Stays delicious as it cools. I was close to giving it 4 stars because it isn't knocking my socks off, but I would recommend this to anyone very highly. So 5 stars!
This was another good coffee. I can definitely taste the fruity flavors way more now that I ever thought before. I try to brew this using two different methods. I use my pour over (Kalita Wave) and my AeroPress. Both provide a slightly different flavor but both are enjoyable. I am lowering this as I just finished it. I almost feel like its too sweet/citrusy.
Love the juiciness of this coffee. Will definitely reorder from roaster.
I just loved this coffee...so almondy in afterglow. I like to power slowly over this one and keep the temperature down. The flavor pops most as the coffee cools
