The Diablo Blend was carefully roasted for you by Caffe Ladro. Ladro's renowned dark roast, incorporating coffees with naturally large body and sweetness. This coffee is full bodied with a mix of caramel and smoky flavors.
Ive asked not to have any coated coffee beans. My machine doesn't work with beans that are Carmel coated , chocolate coated, etc. basically anything coated
Strong and delicious. Def ordering this one in the future.
Very good not as bitter as the French roast we had last.
This blend was excellent! I loved how full and bold it was.
I liked this coffee a lot. It got a nice mouthfeel and I love the way it smells. I can definitely taste the caramel flavor, although I'm not sure I'm quite picking up on the smoky flavor. I would say coffee tastes a lot like my "go to" coffees I pick up around my area.
Smooth, but lacking the dark smoky flavor I was looking for
Perfect taste and mouth feel
A nice coffee. Bit low on the aroma, and the crema is not rich. Good rich flavor, and not to oily for the dark roast.

This is a very smooth and flavorful coffee. Great in the morning! Holds its flavor even while lingering over breakfast.
My wife and I both love this blend. Since we primarily drink espresso-based drinks, we like coffee that cuts through milk well and this did the job and tastes great!
This coffee smells like a chocolate cookie when ground up. Very earthy and full bodied. Brews well in my french press, very impressed so far.
Very good! I liked the strength and intensity of this coffee but didn't love the smoky flavors that came along with it.
Super good, better than the last! I love the flavors. slightly Bitter, but nice and roasty finish. Beans are lighter in color than most dark roasts I love.
The Diablo Blend is money. Not as dark as the description might imply, but still has some great flavor.
Amazing. Love this coffee. More like this, please! Or just this again.
This tastes less green than the previous one, but could be smoker and sweeter. Let's try one next that has the very dark and oily looking beans like the Starbucks espresso roast that I like so much.
Roasty, but not as smooth as others I've had. Definitely a top-notch coffee with a hint of bitter chocolate and a strong flavor of tree-nut skins.
Coffee has a good rich, strong, bold flavor. I would have definitely welcomed a double shipment of the beans!!!!
This was easy enough to enjoy, not quite as even or broad as the Deep Space. A little sharper by comparison and had slight dry streak in the taste.
I did not enjoy this coffee.
A little bitter ; flavor not as strong as I would have liked.
This one pretty much tasted like dirt. Made cold brew concentrate using 10oz of coarse ground beans and 40oz of water.
Good dark roast full bodied and smoky as described.
Excellent! The best thus far. Bold but smooth, delivering the caramel and sweet smokey note tones as advertised. I would order this one again!
Didn't really get a bunch of character out of it but smooth.
I enjoyed this coffee very much. The flavor is very smooth - neither acidic nor bitter to my taste, and neither burnt nor roasty. I enjoyed the complex taste and the color of the beans is just about right. We're definitely moving in the right direction.
Not a big fan of organic coffee. They are normally not as flavorful and this was no exception . Mixing it with some darker roast to give it some taste.
Really enjoyed this. Full bodied, dark roast. Smokey rich flavors are perfect for the morning wake-up.
Not bold enough
This coffee was rich, dark, smooth and well balanced. Everyone that tried it enjoyed it. It was not as complex as some of the other coffees that I have had, but it was still very good.
Love love this blend--deep and nutty, very smooth.
Great taste - nice, bold and smooth. A hint of sweetness. Medium colored bean with a touch of oil.
This coffee was not as good as the first shipment. It had a mild sweet flavor that diminished the robust coffee taste preferred.

Delicious dark roast

It seemed to lacking boldness and strength. We did try the second coffee you sent, the Italian blend, and liked it better
Best coffee we've had so far. Really enjoyed the balance of caramel and smoky flavor.
Smooth coffee, not as dark as I normally like, but evidently dark enough, as I really liked it.
Loved this coffee! So smooth and rich.
I personally don't like smokey flavors, so I really dislike this coffee
This blend I enjoyed the best so far. It is robust but still smooth.
Love this coffee. Dark, Smokey and Bold. One of my favorites!
At first sip, this coffee put hair on my chest, then immediately wrapped me in a loving embrace that reassured me I could absolutely tackle my new life as a hirsute female imbiber; it would all be worth it in the end. The autumn winds carried the smell of burning leaves and roast cacao from my hilltop home to the tiny villagers below. At some point a bald eagle landed on my shoulder. When I came to, I was still sitting in commuter traffic but at least the coffee was pretty good.
Diablo Blend was better than Double Dark but still darker than I typically enjoy. Tastes a bit burnt. For my next batch, please sent me a medium roast instead of a dark roast.
Not my cup of tea... err, coffee.
There is a delicious contrast in this coffee! First you taste the light sweetness and then you are left with the smooth smoky flavors at the end. An excellent cup!
Very deep, dark and full bodied, w/ 5 min brew
emphasis on bitter side of chocolate and roasted dried fruits; enjoyed it but looking for more of a medium roast
Very good coffee. I used it both for hot brew and cold brew. Delicious option as cold brew.
Smoky, tobacco flavors are nice, but overall too mild for me.
was ok at first, but the more I drank it the less enjoyable it was.. can't put my finger on what made it increasingly terrible
Better than when I went to the Ladro coffee shop in Downtown Seattle. Smooth, delicious, low acidity.
loved it! the chocolate smooth kind of dark roast I like.
Would like a little less tobacco flavor
Kristena & David
Struggled to get a bold flavor with this one. Didn't seem like a dark roast at all.
This is so good! Love the Smoky taste
Really enjoyed this darker roast
If you like a rich, smooth, full-bodied cup, try this one - you won't be disappointed!
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Loved the smoky flavors. This pick was definitely a home run
Liked this one a lot. Has good flavor.
Nice smooth cup of coffee.
This was my favorite
Good! I really enjoy this coffee!
I really enjoyed this cup. The caramely notes were nice, but I wished it carried over more to the cup. The mouth feel was smooth, but not as chocolately or caramely as I would like.
Enjoyed the flavor of this coffee. Nice, smooth, rich taste - perfect for a mid morning cup without giving too much of a caffeine boost. Would definitely buy this one again
I greatly enjoying this coffee. I'd considering some of the best I've had so far. It incredibly robust and dark, but not too chocolatey or nutty like I feel many "dark" coffees tend to be.
Good taste, but mild.
Love this one.
Not too bad, but only second day. A bit earthy for my taste, yet it still has room to grow on me.
This coffee is fantastic. I was worried it would be too bitter or harsh based on the description, but it tastes great, has a smooth finish, and leaves me wanting more when my cup is empty.
Nice body. Low acidity. Has a slight over-roasted flavor, but overall solid.
Best one yet for me! I love the dark roast and rich flavor. The caramel and smoky undertones are there but not over powering. It's well rounded.Very nice!

this one went very fastliked the smoky notes
Bob & Roberta
robust, a surprising blend of flavors that satisfied a morning palette!
Very full bodied with a great after taste.
No matter how I made it, it tasted either too weak or too strong. It smelled okay, but tasted burnt and was undrinkable.
Dark coffee is always finicky. Most of them take the right process and brewing to get just right. This coffee . . . couldn't screw it up. Excellent and amazing complexity despite a very dark roast. Chemex brewing axes any bitterness, but a french press adds depth. Take your choice, but each method makes this taste like an entirely new coffee. Kudos to the roaster.
By far, the best blend I've tried yet! Made French press style, in the morning with a little hazelnut creamer. The creamer dulls none of the flavor. Amazing.
Nice strong flavor
This coffee was good. It just didn't blow me away.
This one was probably the most enjoyable blend on this shipment. We loved the sweet smooth chocolate finish.
I could be one with the Diablo after tasting this blend. While the flavor was rich and complex, there was a surprising sweetness that balanced the smoke and earth notes. I loved that the beans were dark and oily, but the flavor was different (and more awesome) than expected.
Favorite out of this batch, all around worked well
My favorite so far. It is hard to get used to other coffee after drinking this wonderful blend.
Really liked this coffee; our 2nd favorite of this taste sample.
Flavor was there, but weak.
Overall taste was good. Liked the full body. Wanted more smokey taste. I French pressed it.
This one, even though it's dark and smokey, is really nice. The tasting notes talk about it being dark brown sugar and caramel, which is what I think I get most from this. I can taste the caramel after taste, or sense it at the back of my throat. Really nice, but probably one of enjoy more in a lighter roast.
Great well rounded flavor. Brewed with Aeropress.
This blend seemed a bit too bold for me at first when in the palette but I loved the lingering flavor and it actually seemed to mellow if I didn't start in on it immediately after being
Best yet! We actually give it a 4 1/2. There was less of an aroma after it was brewed, but the definitely bold flavor is awesome. It is slightly sweet and we agree with the roaster's description of a bittersweet chocolate finish. LOVE the finish!
Strong and smooth..could still use mor bite, but a good cup of coffe. Great aromatics.
Good Stuff! Full bodied. Nice aroma. Not to heavy but still plenty of boldness. Taste is dark and definitely smoky but still delicious!
Smoky and earthy. A little spicy with notes of tobacco.
I would describe this as a mild, well-balanced coffee; easy to drink any time of day with medium body and a nice taste and finish.
Nice dark roast. Makes a very well balanced and smooth cup of coffee, while also works well for espresso. Tried making cold brew iced coffee and it turned out great.
